Commercial audit
The commercial audit shows what's happening in your sales process. I review everything from your ideal customer and lead sources to calls, proposals and forecasting, trace one won and one lost deal end to end, and give you a scored written report with the three things to fix first and a 90-day plan, in two weeks.
Is a commercial audit right for you?
- You have a sales team or a sales lead, and results are flat
- Marketing says the leads are good and sales says they aren't
- You want an independent view before hiring, restructuring or investing
- You need a plan the board can see
What does the audit review?
- Ideal customer profile and positioning
- Lead sources, and whether marketing leads become sales-qualified leads
- Pipeline and CRM: stages, data quality and the KPIs in place
- Conversion rates at every stage, from first contact to close
- Sales calls at each stage: first conversations, discovery, proposal presentations, negotiation and close
- Proposals as sent to prospects
- Two deals traced end to end, one won and one lost
- Pricing, team roles, reporting and forecasting
What I need from you: A founder interview, a conversation with one member of the sales team, read-only CRM access, recordings of recent sales calls at each stage (or the chance to sit in on live calls) and recent proposals.
What you get
- A detailed written report with a score for each area
- Stage-by-stage conversion analysis
- The three things to fix first
- A 90-day plan to fix them
- A 60-minute readout call to go through it
Worth knowing: The audit stands on its own and the report is yours whether or not you hire me. It's also designed to lead somewhere, and I'll say so plainly: if you ask me to implement the plan, the fee is credited against the first month.
How long does it take?
Two weeks from the day I have access and recordings, then the 60-minute readout. The fixes usually become sales process and playbook work.
From experience

Seehab AhmedFounder, Stratus Growth
Part of every audit is tracing two deals end to end, one won and one lost: how each started and how every stage was handled, from first contact to close.
In the sales organisation I led, the forecast I reported to the board stayed within 10% of the monthly target.
