AI training for sales teams

AI training for sales teams teaches salespeople to use Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot for the work that eats their week: account research, outreach, call preparation, follow-up and keeping the CRM up to date. I've run a 25-person sales organisation, so every example comes from real selling.

Signs your sales team needs it

  • Salespeople spend hours researching an account before a call
  • Follow-up emails go out days late, or not at all
  • CRM notes are thin because nobody has time to write them
  • The team has AI licences and uses them for little more than spelling

What do I teach?

How to research an account and its people in minutes, prepare for a call, draft outreach and follow-up that still sounds like the salesperson, summarise calls into the CRM and build small daily routines such as email triage. Every exercise uses your team's own accounts and deals.

What you get

  • Two or three sessions on real deals and accounts
  • A shared prompt library for research, outreach and follow-up
  • Daily routines the team keeps using
  • Clear guidance on what not to put into AI tools

Worth knowing: Good selling is still people talking to people. AI gives your team more time to do it, and I don't set up automated outreach at scale.

How it runs

Scoping call, written proposal, then two or three sessions. Proposals slowing deals down? See AI for proposals and presentations. Recruitment teams are a strong fit: see recruitment businesses.

From my work
Every morning I run a start-of-day routine that surfaces the emails needing a reply and the actions to take. It's usually the first thing I teach.
In numbers
I led a 25-person sales organisation across the UK and US, so the exercises come from how salespeople spend their day.

Questions people ask

Will AI write our sales emails for us?

It will draft them faster. The training covers using it for research and first drafts while the salesperson keeps the judgement and the relationship.

Which tools do you train on?

Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, whichever your team already has.
